Is it possible to be smart, beautiful, earthy, funny, and sexy all at the same time? Yes it is when describing the super talented actress Karissa Vacker, who has recently joined our teaching faculty. We are so delighted to welcome Karissa!
Check out her many top billing credits, starring on shows such as: How I Met Your Mother, Castle , Chuck, Days of our Lives, The Young and the Restless and 90210 along with several independent films. She has also portrayed leading roles in regional theatres across the country, notably, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre (Romeo and Juliet, Measure for Measure, The Taming of the Shrew), Milwaukee Repertory Theatre (A Month in the Country), Geva Theatre A Christmas Carol, and PCPA Theatrefest A Flea in her Ear, Private Lives.
Karissa is also a much sought after audiobook narrator who records regularly for top publishing company Penguin Random House! A few of her fabulous titles include Daughter of Deep Silence, Still Life with Tornado, The Smell of Other People’s Houses, and Chasing Secrets.
She hails from Texas and holds a BFA in acting Summa Cum Laude from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. The students already gave Karissa a 100% perfect score on her teacher evaluation.
